Self-taught photographer with a focus on grand human-made creations, the big as well as the tiny world of nature and experimental aspects in photography.

Latest Captures

Latest Capture features my most recent work, updated continuously. Come back often – curiosity is rewarded with new stories told through images. Each update offers a glimpse into what currently inspires me and how my perspective evolves over time.

Manmade

As a photographer and architect, I am naturally drawn to the traces of human intervention. Architecture has taught me how people shape space, create structures, and leave lasting imprints on their surroundings. Through photography, I capture these interventions not only as physical forms, but also as expressions of culture, intention, and transformation. What fascinates me is the dialogue between the natural and the constructed world – the way human ideas materialize in structures, objects, and landscapes, often revealing both beauty and vulnerability.

Natural Wonders

Alongside my fascination with human interventions, I am equally drawn to the quiet complexity of nature and wildlife. Photographing animals and natural environments allows me to focus on patterns, details, and fragile moments that exist beyond human influence. For me, these images are a counterpoint to architecture and constructed space – they capture the spontaneity, resilience, and delicate balance of the natural world.

Still Life

In addition, I experiment with still life photography as a way to explore composition, texture, and light in a more controlled setting. Unlike architecture, nature, or wildlife, still lifes allow me to create and arrange moments deliberately, distilling objects down to their essence. For me, this practice is both a study of form and a meditation on the beauty of the ordinary.

Colored Mysteries

Beyond modern digital photography, I also experiment with analog techniques such as APS. Working with film opens up unique possibilities in terms of color, depth, and texture that cannot be replicated digitally. For me, the slower, more deliberate process of analog photography is not only a technical exploration but also an artistic one. This experience becomes even more tangible when an image finds its way onto paper: the tactile presence, the subtle play of light on the surface, and the permanence of print reveal a different dimension of photography – one that lives beyond the screen.

Faces & Stories

People are the living connection between constructed spaces and natural environments. In my photography, I search for the gestures, emotions, and encounters that define this human element. These images form a dialogue with my other work – less about structure or landscape, more about identity, intimacy, and the traces we leave behind.
